DONATE

If you have had success finding or selling a car and would like to leave a small finders or sellers fee, of course we'll accept it, but do not feel in any way obligated. We love what we do!

After almost 3.5 years since starting M Coupe Buyers Guide, I have decided it's time to make things a little more formal. Each of my three guides were built somewhat independently using a combination of my own code with whatever free software I could find. As each has grown, the mix of languages and softwares is getting more difficult to handle and maintain. I decided to go back to the drawing board.

In my day job (web development), I've really enjoyed using the open source content management system Mojo Portal. It's easy to use, integrates well with most of my code, and is not Wordpress (which keeps getting hacked). I also decided my free Wordpress template was looking very dated, and decided to go for something more modern. The new design is setup to be responsive in order to look and work better on mobile devices and tablets. My goal with the re-development is to keep all the current functionality, increase usability, and use my future time to add additional features rather than clean up hacking.

I also thought I should bring all my buyers guides under a single umbrella. I came up with "Car Enthusiast Guides". This site will be the home page of all current and future buyers guides. Each guide will continue to operate independently in order to best serve it's audience.

Because Z3 Coupe Buyers Guide is currently the simplest and most recent, it will be the first to receive the overhaul. Next up will be the M Roadster Buyers Guides. M Coupe Buyers Guide is still my"baby", but it has over 400 articles I'll need to try to move over and reformat. I want a little more experience with the new system before crossing that bridge.

I hope you enjoy the new designs!
